Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra RV Waste Valve. This unit simply adds or replaces a waste valve gate in your RV's waste system. It's made from a strong and durable black plastic construction. The valve's going to features 1 1/2 spigot and hub on each side, so it's going to connect between two plumbing pipes. If we take a look on this side first, we're going to go over the internal and external measurements. The internal diameter on this side it's going to measure about 1 9/16". External, outside edge to outside edge of the circular area, we're look at pretty close to 1 7/8".
Now, an 1 1/2" hub fitting is also a 2" spigot, so on this side, the internal diameter is going to be about 1 7/8". External diameter is about 2 3/8". It's also going to feature the easily accessible T-handle that makes opening and closing the gate quick and easy. That's going to be grey in color when it comes to the color of the handle. The unit is already assembled and has the appropriate seals installed for leak proof performance. If we take a look at the overall length, going this direction measuring edge to edge, we're look at a measurement of about 6 5/8". If we extend the handle out, we measure edge to edge we're now looking at about pretty close to 8 3/4". That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra RV Waste Valve..

We somehow lost the valve for our gray water tank. We needed to add a coupling but we successfully fixed our problem with the replacement Valterra valve.
replacement product was the same brand that was removed. Shipping was very prompt. Hard to take a picture of a gray water valve part. A video of my husband finding the root of the problem and how simple that would have been to solve the problem is a picture worth a thousand words. Next time!
