Front Hitch that Fits 2019 Ford Transit T350 Coachman RV

Question:

I have a 2019 Ford Transit 350 HD XLT chassis with a 2020 Coachman RV package installed. Will the 3371801053 or 3371801055 fit the front of my chassis? If not, do you have something as a class 4 that will? Thank you for your time, Steven

Hey Steven, we have a front hitch that fits your 2020 Coachman built on a 2019 Ford Transit T350 chassis with the EcoHitch part # EH79CR which would work great for you but neither of the part numbers you mentioned would work.

@StevenC I wish we could link the instructions but EcoHitch is real goofy about having their instructions online so I don't have any we can send but it does come with a set of detailed instructions.

Steven, have you mounted a front hitch yet, I have a 2020 Pleasureway on a Ford 350 HD 2019 chassis as well with no spare tire that I want to mount to the front of my camper van.

Has anyone purchased this item from etrailer for this 2019 Ford 350 transit and have they made comments on the installation? My 2020 Pleasureway (built on 2019 chassis) didn't come with a spare tire either. There is no cutout in the bumper as shown in this picture where the hitch exits the bumper. I feel like Steven does who commented on asking for installation information, I too would like to know what I am getting into trying to install the product and want to make sure this fits before starting a hard install. I have been a very good customer if you check my email for purchases so I feel it is a fair for me to ask.

@Bob We haven't had a chance to have a customer come back with a review on this front hitch yet. But if you scroll down to Seven's comment and hit reply to him and write him a message he will get an email notification and hopefully he messages you back.

Thank you Jameson for your reply. It is noted that this hitch fits Ford Transit T350. I don’t see a model on the van or in the book in the glove box . I do know it is built on the 2019 350 HD (doullies wheels on the back) chassis. I don’t know if the T350 you noted is the same chassis the 350 HD with doullie tires is built on. I would hate to have to send something that large and heavy back if it doesn’t fit. Can you verify this Is the same chassis. Thanks!

Can you poke the manufacturer again and see if we can get them to verify their front hitch will fit my Ford transit 350 HD chassis (dual back tires-heavy duty). That is the chassis Pleasure way, Coachman, and Winnebago use because it’s rated for an additional 500 pounds of loading.

@Bob I actually did hear back from them yesterday and was trying to find this page to reply to you but was struggling so I am glad you said something! Here is what they said: We have no had a chance to test this specific vehicle, and cannot guarantee that the X7916s will fit on there. If you wanna send some pictures over we can try to take a look and see what we think, but we have not been able to test that. Thank you, Kevin Customer Support and Sales
