Will EcoHitch Front Hitch EH79CR Fit 2020 Ford Transit T350 Dually AWD w/ Adaptive Cruise Control?

Question:

Will the EH79CR work on a 2020 Ford Transit 350 Dual Rear Wheel All Wheel Drive van with adaptive cruise control? Will the hitch interfere or prevent mounting of the adaptive cruise control sensor?

Hello Lester, thanks for reaching out. The EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH79CR does fit the 2020 Ford Transit T350 Dually AWD with adaptive cruise control, but the hitch will interfere with the sensor.

Jesse, I just got off the phone with Tiffany at your office and was advised that this hitch will not work with the adaptive cruise control. Unfortunately, I have already had it installed on my 2021 Ford Transit 350. And it does interfere. Do you folks have a work around.....I can disable the Precollision and get normal cruise control, but not happy to have to do that. Thanks, Ray Craig

@RayC Dang sorry to hear that. Aside from potentially relocating the sensor, disabling it is the only thing I can think of. I will work on adding a note to our site that the hitch does interfere with the sensor. Sorry if I led you astray with incorrect info.

@JesseM Jesse, My local Ford mechanic would not touch the sensor.....liability issues. I have ordered an OEM service manual to see if I can define the location of the sensor and perhaps relocate it. Can you send me the instructions for the hitch installation I got with the unit? Tork lift kept the instructions and discarded them after they installed the hitch. I would like to be able to reference the sensor mods I remember from when I read thru them. This stuff just keeps me active and engaged. Ray

@RayC So there is not a PDF of the instructions I can send so I went out to our warehouse and opened up one of the hitches and took pictures of the instructions for you. It ended up being a few more pages than I thought, and it was packed in there really well, but the pages were pretty wrinkled. I will go ahead and send that over to your email. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do.
