My Atwood water heater is OD-5001. The Atwood part number is 91360 on control board. Will this part work? Thank you kindly.

Hi Walter,

The # AT91367 unfortunately is not a compatible fit for your OD-5001, you would need the 90274 instead. Since the 90274 is discontinued you'd only be able to find it secondhand. If you can't then you're looking at a total replacement of the water heater. Manufacturers have sized down their water heaters over the years so any replacement would require you to frame in the cutout hole a bit to mount a new unit. You'll want to measure the cutout hole and any excess space the old access door covered and choose a similar sizing from the one of the Furrion options below:

16" x 16" Door # FR98SR
16" x 18" Door # FR48SR
18" x 18" Door # FR68SR

You'll also need to use some butyl tape # AL28FJ on the back of the mounting flanges for the unit and access door as well as some non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1 around the outer edge of the access door for a waterproof seal.

Hey Walter, what ended up working out with your Atwood water heater replacement? Your update could make it easier for others trying to match a new unit to an older OD-5001 model.
