While I have no way to lookup the parts for your Kodiak Hitch on your Big Tex trailer I believe you are looking for a spring like the Bulldog Replacement # BD500354. This spring has an overall length of 1-7/8". If the spring you are looking for is different than this type please send me an image of your specific coupler and where the spring sits so I can verify if we have what you are needing.

I took a caliper out to our warehouse and measured the Replacement Spring for Ram Sleeve Lock Couplers part #CA-5196-SPR for you, the length is 1.68" and the diameter of the coil is .040".

Hey Dennis, it sounds like you have a Bulldog Collar Lock style coupler which we have replacement springs for with the part #BD500354.

We do not have many replacement parts for Sleeve-Lock couplers like the item #CA-5196-B you were looking at. We just have the replacement spring item #CA-5196-SPR and the replacement pin item #CA-5196-PN.
