Torque Spec on Lug Nuts for Aluminum Wildcat Trailer Wheel

Updated 02/17/2026 | Published 06/14/2024

Question:

I just bought a 2024 Geo Pro 19FD and it has the Aluminum Wildcat Trailer Wheel - 15x6 Rim, 5 on 4-1/2, Item LH59VR - my question is what do I torque the nuts to? I cannot find anything that says what it is. I saw some YouTube video that said TT need to be torqued to 100 lbs. Is that a universal ? Thank you

Hi Mark; we use the torque spec chart below for lug nuts on trailer wheels. Since the # LH59VR is a 15" aluminum wheel that fits 1/2"-20 wheel bolts the correct torque spec is 90-100 ft.-lbs.

Hi Mark, how did things go torquing the lug nuts on your Geo Pro’s aluminum wheels? It’d be great to know if the 90–100 ft‑lb range worked well for you. Your update could make it easier for others checking their trailer wheels.
