Hi, Can I use a weight distribution hitch on a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum which has the tow package up to 6000 lbs with 7 pin wiring harness? Also, can I use a weight distribution hitch on a Intech Sol Horizon with my Pathfinder? Thanks. Shawn Stephens

Hey Shawn,
Yes, you can use a weight distribution hitch with your 2022 Nissan Pathfinder, so long as your receiver hitch is rated for use with weight distribution. If you have the OEM hitch that will work, otherwise you'll need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C46DR.
As for your inTech Sol Horizon trailer, that depends entirely on the manufacturer. Reason I say that is it looks as if this trailer has an aluminum frame, and oftentimes those aren't able to use weight distribution, so you'll need to ask them directly if this is allowed. If so, based on the 4,000 lb GVWR of the trailer, the best option is definitely the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37060ET.
This is not only rated properly for the tongue weight of the trailer, but also gives you the best possible sway control, at four different points on the hitch. So you'll be able to tow level while also getting the best overall control and handling.
