Question:
I just ordered the 21K Autoslide hitch and was directed to get and locking plate for it I ordered and just received the DM6026 plate but it sticks out passed the front of the pin box about 1/4...is that correct ? or should I use the DM77GV and drill holes in the lower plate of the 5th Air bourn pin box?? DM77GV Locking plate to install it do I have to drill holes in the lower plate there are holes only for the DM6026 plate of my 2020 5th Air bourn pin box to install it? Please give me direction Thanks Chuck

Hey Chuck, thanks for reaching out again!
The Locking Plate # DM77GV is only for 2020 and newer 5th Airborne pin boxes. If yours is older than that, the Locking Plate # DM6026 is the correct fit. As long as the king pin hole and bolt holes are lining up and you're able to torque everything down correctly, a small gap as the front is okay.

John, so if I get the DM77GV is it OK to drill the 5/8 holes in the pin box plate? The date on the pin box is 8-03-20 so I should use the DM 77 GV correct? Again ok to drill 5/8 holes per the installation instructions in the bottom plate of my fifth airborne? Chuck
