Is it Possible to Carry a Bike Rack While Towing a Boat Trailer

Question:

What would you suggest as a solution to have a 2000 lb boat towing behind a Allen 5 bike rack mounted on a curt double 2 mount. My current issue is the boat trailer tongue is so short, the bikes cannot clear the front of the boat with a standard length ball mount. I looked at 16 ball mounts, but I am afraid it wont be enough clearance in corners. Thanks!

What about a bike rack mounted on the roof of your tow vehicle like the Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103? You'd need a set of crossbars installed on your roof if you don't have anything currently so if you needed that I'd need to know what vehicle you have. Or another option might be a front hitch where you can install a bike rack in.

I have a 2018 F150. Maybe over the bed rails instead?

@Scott That's a great idea. We have the Yakima BedRock part # Y01160-59 that fits your truck bed and puts a set of crossbars right above the bed that you could mount a roof bike rack on like the one I mentioned earlier.
