Recommended Tonneau Cover And Ladder Rack Combo For A 2019 Ford F-150 5.5' Bed

Hey Kevin, I'm trying to figure out if the combo above with either the Bak Revolver X4S or Truxedo Sentry CT will work on a 2019 F-150 with 5.5' bed. Yes? Colin

Hey Colin,

Both the TruXedo Sentry CT Hard Tonneau Cover # TX1597716 and BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK39ZR are essentially the same cover with just some minor aesthetic differences. Both operate exactly the same and sit on the bed the same way. If I had to choose between the two I'd go with the TruXedo Sentry CT Hard Tonneau Cover # TX1597716 because it sits closer to the edge of the bedrails so you're not losing extra space for the rails.

This cover can be paired with the TS Rails for TruXedo Elevate Rack System # TH75FR and Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Tonneau Cover Adapters # Y01151-5755 or you could go with a full truXedo Elevate rack with part # TX96NV

Thanks Kevin. That's super helpful. It looks like with the Sentry CT, there's an inverted L-shaped bracket that fits over the edge of the bed rails. When you mount that on top of the TS Rails for Truxedo Elevate Rack System, it'll add a bit more stack height than the Sentry alone. So I assume that it fits, but it may have a bit more of a gap you'd need to fill with a foam strip or something, right? Then when you add the Overhaul tonneau mounts, there's a bit more of a lip on the inboard side than there is with the Truxedo elevate (or other racks) system, which basically goes straight up without an inboard lip. The Overhaul lip still clears the Sentry seal? It looks like it does, whereas the X4s is wider and much tighter fit. Sorry for all the questions. There just isn't a whole lot of information out there on this combination, and I'd like to make sure it fits before ordering (which I'll certainly do with you guys--I love your customer service). Returning for poor fitment is a pain when you have such a large item.

@Colin Hey, the OverHaul rail adapters # Y01155 will sit about 2-1/2" from the center of the track towards the inside of the bed. The center of the track on the TS Rails# TH75FR is approximately 2" from the bed and the Sentry CT # TX1597716 sits roughly 1/2" into the bed so you'd have enough clearance with the possibility of the tarp rubbing a bit against the OverHaul adapters when opening or closing the cover.
