Question:

Looks like your trailer brake backing plate bolt kit BRKH12 are not splined bolts. Do you offer a splined bolt? What is the torque spec for the backing plate bolts? What is the torque spec for 3 inch axle U bolts?

Hello Paul,

We do not offer splined bolts for brake mounting hardware, just the bolts with the Mounting Bolts and Hardware for 12" Brake Assemblies # BRKH12.

The torque for 12" assemblies should be 30-50 ft/lbs, and the torque for 3" u-bolts like with the U-Bolt Kit # APUBR-8 is 40-70 ft/lbs.
