Question:
Hello, I have a Dexter 3500lb axle that has 3 tube not the 2-3/8 tube. Im looking for 6 long round u-bolts for this. The 7 long bolts are to long where the thread length would be pass the top plate so nut will not be tight. Do you have something for this? Also when I measure the spacing of the u-bolt at the top plate it measures 3-3/4 center to center. What would the actual B measurement of the spring diagram be? Is it still 3?

Every 3,500lb Dexter axle we sell has a diameter of 2-3/8" and typically uses a 5-1/2" U-bolt, such as U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 3,500-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 5-1/2" Long U-Bolts # APUBR-1. You may have a 5,200lb Dexter axle, which has the 3" diameter that you seem to have. With this, you would typically use U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 7" Long U-Bolts # APUBR-8, but these U-bolts are 7" long, which seem to be an issue in your situation. The only other option for you is to use CE Smith U-Bolt w/ Nuts for 3" Round Axles - 1/2" Diameter # CE15287GA which are 6-11/16" long and are for a 3" round axle.
If your Dexter axle is in fact a 3,500lb axle, then it very likely is 2-3/8" diameter in which case you would just need U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 3,500-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 5-1/2" Long U-Bolts # APUBR-1. I have linked an installation video for this U bolt kit.
I'm not quite sure what you are asking in regard to the 3-3/4" measurement, but the # APUBR-8 7" U-bolt has a center to center measurement of about 3-3/4" and is made for 3" axles.
