What is the Duty Cycle Rating On The Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000?
Published 05/13/2024 >
Question:
What is the duty cycle for the compressor in Air Lift Item AL74000? I frequently drive on muddy roads and the under-carriage accumulates considerable mud. Mounting the compressor under the vehicle could cause the compressor to become encased in mud. Will the mud cause the compressor to not operate correctly?

Expert Reply:
The compressor with the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000 has a 9% max duty cycle at 72 degrees Fahrenheit and 100psi.
For the mud if it were to block the air filter or completely encase the compressor it would cause it to fail or overheat. You might consider mounting it in the engine bay if that stays free of mud.
