porch light is going on 1986 avion rv. metal body. will it need metal base for ground. thanks

A Porch Light # OPT24WR for your 1986 Avion Azur is not going to ground from the base on the light to the body on your chassis. Therefore you are not going to have to have a metal base for it to ground. The Porch Light # OPT24WR you found would be a good candidate as it has a separate power and ground wire which you can run to a suitable ground location.
