Hello Ron. I was able to find the instructions for the 12K Equal-i-zer Hitch # EQ37120ET and I have linked those instructions for you below. So, it is a slightly higher rated hitch, but the instructions will be the same. As far as your 2024 Jayco Flight 225MLS, the # EQ90-00-1000 is a great choice. You are correct that you will need to buy a ball separately, and for that I recommend part # EQ91-00-6100 which is a 2-5/16" ball. You will also need a thin walled socket like part # EQ70-00-4800.

I have a 2008 jayco jayflight g2 31rks can't figure out what equilizer sway hitch I need? Drive a 2024 silverado trailboss 5.3l Is a 12000lb or 14000lb better for it? Trailer weight is 7014 on my title.
