Replacement For A BT-100 Trailer Idler Hub

Question:

I have a BT-100 hub that measures 5 1/2inch in diameter and 4inch in width. It has a 4 bolt pattern on 4inch centers. Bearings are L44643 and the grease seal is L12407. The problem is every hub I see is 4 1/4inch in width. The spindle only measures 4inch on this trailer. Do you have hub to fit this? Thank you Fred

Hey Fred,

The Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles # AKIHUB-440-2-1K being a 1/4" longer than your BT-100 hub would only be an issue if you had wheel hub covers that sit within that extra 1/4" of space. The grease cap is just going to stick out 1/4" further than your BT-100.
