Replacement Bearings, Grease Seal And Hub Assembly For A 2002 Shorlandr WaveRunner Trailer

Question:

I have a 2002 Shorelander waverunner trailer. It has Dico 45263 hub 5 on 4 1/2. The bearings are both L44649 and seal not sure correct one 12404. I think the races are ok. What bearings and seal should I need? Is it normal for both to be the same bearing number. Another option is to change the whole hub assembly to be newer, what hub assembly you recommend. Hey John,

It's normal for 2k axles to use the same bearings for both the inner and outer so the # L44649 could be the correct fit for both if that's what you found stamped on them. If the grease seal says 12404 then the # TMK36ZR may be a fit based on what I can find for this seal. I'd prefer to get some measurements on your spindle to confirm fitment though. You can measure points B, C, and D on the diagram below with a digital caliper # PTW80157 to confirm the inner diameter for the grease seal and bearings.

Shorelandr is one company that does actually offer a little bit of info if you have the VIN of the trailer. If you can email that to me separately I can see what records they have for your trailer.
