Bearings And Seals For Superior 1510-L Trailer With 2,000 lb GVWR

Updated 11/17/2025 | Published 12/08/2024

Question:

I have a Superior 1510-L trailer with a GVWR of 2000 Lbs. The bearings that came out have a 1.0625 ID, little over 1.75 OD and approx. 1 19/32 width. There were no seperate races, the grease seal is approx. 1.95 OD and 1.25 ID. The spindle itself has 1 outer threads, 1.0625 shaft, 1.25 Seal and 1 5/8 main shaft thickness. The trailer itself is 5 wide X 10 long. Can you help me figure out what kit I should purchase? Many thanks

Hey John, thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you need the Timken Grease Seal # TMK36ZR which is I.D. 1.250" / O.D. 1.983". As far as the bearings it sounds like your hub uses the L44649 bearing which is the 1.063" ID. This goes with the L44610 race which is 1.98" OD. There has to be a race in your hub for the seal to ride on so please do measure you race and verify it is the 1.98" OD. We do not have a kit that comes with all of these so you will need to get them separately. Here is what I recommend:

- Timken Replacement Bearing and Race Set - L44649 and L44610 # TMK23VR

- Timken Grease Seal - Single Lip - I.D. 1.250" / O.D. 1.983" - 203029 # TMK36ZR

Hey John, did the Timken bearing and seal setup end up matching your Superior 1510-L trailer? Knowing how the fit turned out could really help others trying to replace similar parts.
