Can 3,500 lb Electric Trailer Brake Axle be Converted to Hydraulic Brakes

Question:
I currently have 3500 lb axles with electric drum brakes and 6 lug bolt pattern. Is there any way to upgrade to electric over hydraulic brakes and keep my 6 lug wheels?

Hey Sherman, yes you can replace the 3,500 electric brake assemblies you have now with hydraulic assemblies with the part # AKFBBRK-35. That's all you have to do and it allows you to keep your current hubs and wheels.

Oh Sorry, I meant to say electric over hydraulic DISC brakes. Any way to upgrade to those and keep 6 lugs? It seems that 6 lug hub/rotor assemblies may not be available to 3500 lb axles.
