Is Slider B and W Companion Hitch Needed for 2024 GMC 3500 Short Bed Towing 2000 Thor Tahoe 33TB

Question:
I have a 2024 gmc 3500 short bed with the factory installed puck system and a 2000 thor tahoe 33tb fifth wheel. I want to buy a BandW fifth wheel hitch can I use the regular one or do I need a slider?

Hey Damon, thanks for the pictures of your camper. Based on that you would definitely need a slider hitch as the nose of your camper is as wide as they come and also your pin box isn't' extended. But no worries on that as that's what slider hitches were designed to work with so for the bed of your 2024 GMC 3500 Sierra short bed the Companion you'd want is the slider version part # BWRVK3775.
