Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs Have Dry Rotted After About 12 Years - What Can I Do?
Updated 04/15/2024 | Published 04/13/2024 >
Question:
I have these on the back of my 2012 Nissan Titan and both of my bags have dry rotted I guess either one will hold air. All mounting hardware and lines are good just the bags. And I was my truck pretty regular so not sure how this happened. But I definitely love the product.

Hello James. I have heard of air bags dry rotting, but typically this will only happen on older vehicles that have been sitting unused for long periods of time. I suppose 12 years is a long time in air bag years, but still it is a bit strange to hear that they dry rotted. That said, these kits do come with a lifetime warranty, so I suggest you get ahold of air lift to see what they can do for you. It may be possible to just get a new set of air sleeves since this # AL59554 kit is still available.
