Are Diodes Needed for a 2018 Ford F-150 Using the Roadmaster EvenBrake

I have a 2018 F150 XL 4WD Neutral Tow I have #56009 Hopkins wire kit I have the Roadmaster Even Break and in the manual it states to not use a relay if the vehicle has Neutral tow but may need to install a Brake light Relay. Question- with the wire kit I have will I need to add the diod to break light switch. I keep seeing conflicting information.

Rick, yes you are going to need to install the brake lite relay kit with your Roadmaster EvenBrake # RM-9400. The brake lite relay # RM-88400 is included so you should not need to buy another one. Roadmaster states in their instructions that diodes would only be needed if you didn't install the brake lite relay kit, but since you are the diodes are not needed.
