Question:
Good afternoon. Im just getting ready to add your beefed up front and rear anti sway bars and front and rear SumoSprings to my 2011 30ft. Itasca Cambria Ford E-450 that Jameson has been helping me with. I want to flat tow my 90 stock 1991 YJ Wrangler Standard Transmission behind the RV and this tow bar looks perfect and the write-ups are encouraging. Now.....heres the question....I would like the tail-lights and turn signal lights on the Wrangler to function in unison with the RV. Which wiring kit do you recommend. The RV is pre-wired with the 6 pin round receptacle co-located just beside the 2inch square receiver. Thanks. David H

Hey David, for your 1990 Jeep Wrangler the Roadmaster Diode Kit part # RM-15267 would be a really great option. This installs diodes on the Wrangler's taillight circuits which allows the RV to control them. It also comes with the wiring that runs to the trailer wiring at the rear of your RV. You did mention that you have a 6-pin but most likely what you have is the standard 7-way which also has a center pin that gets counted. You also mentioned 90 and 1991 so I am not totally sure what year Wrangler you have but this kit fits both.

Yep...It's a 1991 YJ with that nice size straight 6 - 4.0 L. engine. standard manual trans with "shiftable" manual 4-wheel drive. It probably weighs 2,500 lbs and since I can put the transmission in neutral and I can also put the 4-wheel drive in neutral it should be no problem to flat tow with no issues....and weighing only a couple thousand pounds not extra braking mechanics should be needed. Once again....Thanks for all you help ! David H.
