What Type of Grease is Used for the etrailer 5.2K & 6K Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly

Question:
What grease is in the pre greased 6k hubs/axle? I want to grease my new axles upon assemble and would rather not mix greases.

Hey Brian!
The Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 5.2K & 6K Axles # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K comes with a lithium complex, multipurpose grease.
Attached is a chart showing what grease types are compatible with each other. As long as your current grease it compatible with Lithium Complex you'll be good to go - otherwise you'll need to clean all of the grease off prior to installing this hub/drum kit.
