Gen-Y Gooseneck Hitch Adapter that Could Fit 2016 Evergreen Tesla 3970

Question:
I am interested in purchasing the Gen Y 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter. Just need to make sure it will fit my toy hauler. It is a 2016 evergreen tesla toy hauler t 3970. Am interested in part # gy58 gr A picture of my current pinbox is included.

Hey Josue, so I can't for sure identify what pin box you have on your camper but it does look like the standard Lippert 1621 that the Gen-Y part # GY58GR is designed to fit. If your current pin box is 12 inches wide and the distance between the front bolt holes and rear is 7-7/8 inches that would confirm this is correct fit.

In order for the pin box's shock absorption to work correctly, make sure your pin weight is within the pin weight range. To calculate correct towing weight for Gen-Y hitches, use this formula: GVWR x 0.22 = TW. I read this note on the page to purchase. The tongue weight on the rv is around 3200 lbs. but if i use this calculation and go with the max which is 21000 lbs. the weight is 4600 lbs. will this adapter still work?
