My son in law bought a 2014 dodge ram 1500 slt 4door 5.7 v8 short bed I have a Curt E5 what rail kit will match the two, your recommendation would be greatly appreciated. Yours truly

If you have a 6 foot bed with coil spring suspension in the rear of your son in laws 2014 Ram 1500 you would want the Curt Fifth Wheel Rail Installation Kit part # C16306-204. You will need a slider hitch to make 90 degree turns so I hope your Curt E5 hitch is a slider hitch.
If not, you will need the Curt Slider part # C16560 and the R5 Roller Adapter for Curt E5 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16505.

If you have a 5-1/2 foot bed you would want the Reese 5th Wheel Installation kit part # RP30035-386. If you do have this short of a bed you will need a Sidewinder pin box replacement on your trailer to make 90 degree turns. Check out the FAQ on Sidewinders that I attached.
