Question:
To whom it may concern, I have a 2007 Tricker tandem boat trailer. 6800GVWR wIth 3500LB UFP Torsion Axle suspension. 10 21/4 hub 5 41/2 bolt pattern 14 rims. The original brakes were painted surge drum. After Years of braking inconsistencies I removed the actuator tank and installed electric drum brakes. I also have a rinse tube on my drums. I only fish saltwater now, Electric drums no longer an option. I would like to covert to an all stainless disk brakes system but cannot figure out if this is possible with my current Axle configuration. I also have 3 sided enclosed fenders. Not sure if I have the clearance? Need a complete kit including electric/ hydraulic actuator and lines and fittings to the brakes. I have looked at your Kodiak K2R35S but has no stud plate? Do not know my spindle or brake flange configuration. I can send photos if it would help? To many variables, for my knowledge. Appreciate it if you can point me in the right direction. Thank You P.S. Can I use my cab electric brake controller with modern electric/hydraulic disk brakes Tow vehicle 2001 Dodge 24V. Diesel 2500 camper special

Thanks for all of the details!
I recommend using the following for your boat trailer:
- DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit # DE46YR
- Hydrastar Vented Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes # HS381-8067
- Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Line Kit # 20TA-BLKIT
The Hydrastar is vented and rated for marine use which is excellent for your boat trailering needs and then the brake line kit uses the flexible lines which I prefer for hydraulic systems because it offers better/longer water protection than the steel lines.
The DeeMaxx brake kit uses a combination of Stainless Steel and the Maxx Coat for protection. There aren't any complete Stainless kits for your 3,500 lb axles but the Stainless calipers and Maxx Coat on the hub-rotors and brackets is the next best thing. Stainless is completely corrosion resistant and then the Maxx Coat has a 1,000 hour salt spray rating which is higher than the industry standard.
You will be able to this system with your brake controller as long as it's rated for use with an EOH system.
