The Optronics LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # MCL55AB fits with a Grommet # A54GB into a 2-5/16" mounting hole.

The grommet part #A54GB that you have with the light part #MCL50RB requires a hole diameter of 2-5/16 inches. So you'd need to cut a hole 2-5/16 inch in diameter and the grommet and light will slip right in and be secure.
