Question:

2024 Subaru Forester. Too many options for roof racks. Was looking at the Inno ones, but why are there so many different lengths? I will be using it for carrying a Kayak around.

I agree it can be a bit overwhelming looking through all of the roof racks for your 2024 Subaru Forester, but don't worry I'll help you out.

The first thing you'd want to get figured out is the style of bars you're looking for. Currently there are square, round, and aero bars. Once you decide on a bar style you'll then want to choose a length. For your vehicle, we have bars that measure 30" to 65" long.

Finally, the last thing to consider would be branding. Some people are brand loyalists so they might only choose products form a certain brand, while other people don't care as much. What I will say to that is Thule and Yakima are going to be the heavy hitters in the industry, and will be the most popular.

So with all that info at hand you can make your choice. If you're looking for recommendations I'd suggest checking out the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711320 using the Evo Raised Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710401. I have personally installed these before and they're super easy so you could easily do it yourself.

I also prefer the aero style over the others due to the fact that it looks the best in my opinion and everything fits on it. Sometimes you might have an issue finding accessories that work with other styles of bars.
