Brake Controller For a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Completely Hidden Under the Dash
Question:
I have a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. Is has the tow package and hence the 7 pin plug connector to the trailer, and the brake controller connector behind the hood latch button. My boat trailer has surge brakes, but once or twice a year max, I will want to rent a horse trailer for a week. These rentals all seem to have electric brakes vs surge. I have no spare knockout in the dash. Looking for best solution that does not require visible components. Would pay extra to have it be a pain free installation and everything tucked up under the dash if thats possible. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

It sounds like the Curt Echo Under-Dash Bluetooth Brake Controller # C27JR is exactly what you are looking for. You will need the Wiring Adapter # C51446 to connect to the factory connector under your dash for a plug and play installation. You will control the Curt Echo from your smartphone using the Curt Echo app while the main unit is mounted behind your dash. This means no controllers on the dash or holes to drill in your dash.
