What's the difference between the channel mount and universal mount options for my SUP?

The difference is the mounting hardware that comes with the Lockrack Adjustable Stand-Up Paddle Board Carrier - 1 SUP.
The Channel Mount # LR47FR comes with mounting hardware that slides into T-Slot channels in your roof rack crossbars, while the Universal Mount # LR84VR comes with mounting hardware for T-Slot channels as well as the clamping hardware, part # LR53FR, that allows you to install it on crossbars that don't have T-Slots - like what you'd see on a lot of OEM crossbars.
