Although the Lock N Roll Articulating Trailer Coupler for 2" Receivers # 336TS510 has a 5/8" pin hole to secure it to your trailer, you can definitely weld this to your trailer instead. Just be sure the work is done by a qualified welder especially since you'll be going off-road with this style of coupler.
