Can Atwood OD-5001 Water Heater Valve Assembly Be Replaced

hellooo, name is rey with rv express, i have a customer that has an atwood water heater model # od-5001, he is looking for the valve assembly and no one has it, what can he replace that with. thank you for taking your time with me.

Hi Rey from RV Express,
According to my research it looks like you're needing the Modulating Valve Assembly 90268 for the Atwood OD-5001 Water Heater. The Atwood water heaters have been discontinued for a while now so I'm not surprised you guys are having a hard time finding the right part. We don't carry the part either but if you try searching that part number online you might get lucky and find something.
Since parts for the Atwood water heaters are becoming more scarce it's also worth considering replacing the entire water heater so you know the parts will be good for a while, and then it will also be easier to replace any future parts since the current water heaters are newer. If this is something you're interested in then I recommend checking out the Furrion Tankless Water Heater which comes in a few different configurations:
