Is Anything Needed Prior to Install Charge Line Kit on 2022 Chevy Traverse

Question:
If I have the battery charge kit RM-156-25 installed on my 2022 Chevrolet Traverse, do I need to disconnect the negative battery cable first or do anything else? This is our first TOAD experience were used to towing trailers and fifth wheels. Thank you.
