Will the Gorilla Lift work with a Car Mate 24 Enclosed car trailer rear ramp door? If not what other product?

Unfortunately the Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist w/ Cable # GL1 you're looking at is only going to work with on utility trailer with raised bed rails, so it's not going to work with your CarMate enclosed trailer.

Instead, you'd need to use a conventional spring like the Conventional Ramp Door Spring for 8' Wide Enclosed Trailer # CB250D96SHD which will work with enclosed trailers.

You're just going to need to measure the distance between the mounting brackets and let me know what that is so I can find the proper spring for you.

For example, the Enclosed Trailer Ramp Heavy Duty Spring part # CB250D96SHD has mounting brackets that can be adjusted to sit 80" - 96" apart, so if you have mounting brackets within this range these'll work for you.
