Determining the Correct Spring Replacement on Sundowner Sunlight Stampede Gooseneck Trailer Jack

Question:

I have a Sundowner Sunlight Stampede gooseneck trailer. the leg jack either has a broken/missing return spring. There is no manufacture information on the jack and i have not taken it apart yet due to the frequency of usage. How do i determine if your TJD-12000-RSP return spring will fit my jack with out taking it apart?

Without any identifying information on your trailer jack it's just a guessing game at this point.

If you do end up taking your jack apart and it's rated for 10K then you just need to measure the spring to ensure the Replacement Return Spring # TJD-12000-RSP will work. This spring measures 10-1/4" for the coiled portion and 12-1/4" to the far ends of the hooks (see attached).

The only other solution is for you to replace the entire trailer jack so you know you have a whole system that fits and works together.
