Question:

I bought a Meadowbrook 5th wheel from a neighbor. They have it mounted by the front door. Every time someone goes in/out it blows it out. I dont know why and theyre refusing to answer any questions or help in any way. We also cant seem to get it to stay on above low/medium. Another neighbor who know less than I do about travel trailers and I know nothing says that it might need a new thermo-coupler? Any help is appreicated. it says on the front Wave 8 Catalytic Safety Heater Thank you so much for your time and any help you can give.

If your Camco Olympian Wave 8 Catalytic Safety Heater # CAM57351 keeps blowing out when people pass by it then it could be a faulty thermocouple, which can be replaced with a like size from your local hardware store. You could also have a gas pressure issue if the regulator for the gas line is clogged. If it doesn't want to stay on past low/medium then that would likely be caused by low gas pressure. A replacement hose/regulator like # CAM57721 would likely solve the issue.
