Replacement Leaf Springs For 2015 Forest River Cardinal 5TH Wheel With 6,000LB Tandem Axles

Question:

I have a 2015 Cardinal 3030 5th wheel that is approx 15000lbs it has 2 lippert 6000lbs Axles Serial # 045-002985463 and 045-002985458 The springs failed on the rear axle. I need to replace them and would like to upgrade, and you please provide the replacements parts plus info on upgrading. thank you

I was able to determine you will have 26" long leaf springs like our etrailer # e94SR leaf springs. The only upgrade we would carry for just the springs are our Dacromet # e88SR coated springs which help to resist corrosion.

You can dramatically improve your ride quality and upgrade to stronger springs by installing the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM-2460-2570. This kit includes leaf springs rated for 7,000LB axles so they will be stronger but do understand this will not increase your trailers weight capacities. The springs in this kit work independently and have shock absorbers to help reduce the road shock transferred inside your trailer.
