Question:
I have an old-old trailer that I use for a kayak. The trailer is converted from an old boat trailer, which has a round tubing for the trailer frame. The question is how do I get a coupler to adapt to the round tublar framing?

We have a few different round tube mount couplers that might work for you. If the tube has a 1-3/4 inch diameter we have 4 options:
# BD028381 is rated for 7,000 pounds and fits a 2 inch ball
# BD028242 is rated for 5,000 pounds and fits a 2 inch ball
# BD028442 is rated for 12,500 pounds and fits a 2-5/16 inch ball
# BD028461 is rated for 12,500 pounds, fits a 2-5/16 inch ball, and has a high-profile latch
And we have one option if the tube is 3-1/2 inches in diameter. It is # BD028383 rated for 5,000 pounds and fits a 2 inch ball.

Hi Michael. I have an old trailer that has 3 " pipe and a 1" hitch, I need to have at least a 2" ball. The one I have is detachable. Do you have anything that will fit over the 3" O.D. pipe? Thank you, Daryl
