what is the best adhesive to seal the edge of an aluminum roof on a race trailer? Id prefer something that fits on a caulk gun or comes with an applicator.

For your race trailer with aluminum roof panels it will seal on the edges with a Butyl Tape # AL64UV. Then you will use either a Non-Sag # AL33KV or Self-Leveling # AL68KV sealant to seal the mounting screws and edges of the aluminum roof panels to prevent water from getting inside your trailer.

The difference is simply that the Alpha Systems N2100 Alphaseal All Purpose Sealant for RVs #AL85KV is designed for vertical use and not something you would want to use horizontally while you can use the Alpha Systems 1010 Non-Sag Sealant for RVs…
