Recommended Crossbars For RetraxPRO XR Tonneau Cover On 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Short Bed

I have the RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover with T rails #RTT-80481. I want to add crossbars to either hold a bike rack or a cargo carrier, or both. What crossbars will fit this - and do I need to buy crossbars and then separately buy feet that connect with the T rails? Thanks!

For the RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover # RTT-80481 on your 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 I recommend adding the Thule crossbars. For this you will need the Bars # TH713700, Feet # TH460R and Fit Kit # THKIT3101. This will allow you to use the Thule ProRide Bike Rack # TH598004 or Thule Canyon Cargo Basket # TH859XT-8591XT mounted in the channels on the crossbars. I prefer the ProRide as it clamps to the bikes frame and does not require removal of the front wheel. The Canyon cargo basket is 40" wide and 69" long which is the same length as your bed allowing for plenty of gear storage.
I do recommend using the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450800 to secure the crossbars to your tonneau cover as well as your bike to the bike rack.
