I have a 2023 Toyota Highlander with the 20" spare. What hitch do you have that works?

The only hitch that is compatible with the full size 20" spare tire on a 2023 Toyota Highlander is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch item # EH35VR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Highlander with included hardware.

This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a 750 lbs maximum tongue weight. Aside from being able to work with the full size spare, I really like this hitch because the crosstube is concealed behind the rear bumper and the only part visible is the 2" receiver.

I have attached a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see what this hitch looks like once installed.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C79VV if you have the factory tow package or item # C59496 if you do not and a ball mount kit item # C45534.

I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
