Question:
I am looking to replace the trailer light wiring harness on my truck. It’s a 2002 ford f350 superduty. I noticed you guys have a plug that replaces the harness from the oem plug to the hitch. But it’s showing up as it’s only through 99-01. Do you guys possibly know if it will work or if you guys sell a different one for my truck

The plug on the # C55243 you were looking at will technically fit the connector on your 2002 Ford F-350. The problem is that beginning in 2002 they changed the pins so the connector fits but it won't work with models after 2001. Nobody made a specific aftermarket solution for this but there is a way to replace it with the Hopkins # 40167.
The Hopkins wiring harness is designed to add 5th wheel/gooseneck wiring to the truck bed by many people have used it to replaced the OEM wiring harness. All you need to do is cap off the other gray connector that you won't be using. You can plug this into the 7-way that comes with it or the # HM40975 you currently have on the back of your truck.
I have attached an installation video below for your reference. In the video you can see where they used electrical tape to cover the extra connector that won't be used.
