Replacing Wear Plates On A Curt Power Ride 5th Wheel Hitch

Hello, I have a curt 30k poweride and the pivot lube-plate cover screws have sheared and the plate is 1/2 way off. I was trying to see about attaching pictures here but dont see an option. Is this under warranty? Also not sure if it is safe to tow like this?

Expert Reply:
According to Curt, you never want to operate your PowerRide # C22ER fifth wheel hitch without the integrated lube plates installed. I am not sure what would have caused the screws to shear, but they are replaceable. We have # C52WR which comes with 2 new plates and new screws. That being said, the PowerRide hitch is under a limited lifetime warranty. I recommend contacting Curt directly for warranty.
