Good afternoon. I am looking for Curt 30,000 fifth wheel hitch for my 2024 GMC 3500 long bed. It will have factory fifth wheel prep package. need 30K hitch - camper big. Also do I need to use a lube plate with the Curt 30K hitch? I see it has plates built in?

We do carry the Curt PowerRide 30K hitch for your 2024 GMC 3500 with the factory prep. The hitch you are looking for is the # C36WR. The 30K gross towing weight and 7,500 pin weight rating make this one of the strongest hitches on the market today.

You can use a lube plate like the # 16721 with this hitch, but it is not required. The built in lube plates are made to wear down and will need to be replaced over time. There are "ridges" on the built in lube plates. Once the ridges are no longer visible, they need to be replaced. Using an additional lube plate will extend the lift of the built in plates. Generally lube plates are inexpensive, and I do recommend using one.
