Question:

Which one is better? Really cant tell much in performance. One has built in lube plates. Also has 2 extra grease zerks for less wear in certain spots.

For me the Curt PowerRide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C36WR does appear to be the best value. The built in lube plates help to ensure that you protect the hitch from getting marred up when connecting to the 5th wheel. And unlike some other manufactures the mounting location for the hardware in a good location. I would recommend keeping a spare set or 2 of the Wear Plates # C52WR in the event that they become damaged since they will not be as easily sourced as a standard lube plate. I do like the additional grease points as that will help to quiet the hitch and ensure it lasts.

The Curt A30 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16070 is a great 5th wheel hitch and it has built up quite a reputation for itself over the years so you know it will be a dependable hitch. But since the PowerRide shares most of the same features it tells me that it will last as well. Really the main difference is the finishes on the hitches themselves.
