I have a Nissan Altima 2016 with a class I hitch 1 1/4in. Can you recommend an adapter that will allow me to attach a cargo carrier that uses a 2in hitch?

We do have an adapter that will allow you to attach a 2" cargo carrier to the 1-1/4" hitch on your 2016 Nissan Altima. I recommend the adapter # e43YR. This is 6-1/2" long and will go in to your 1-1/4" hitch and give you a 2" receiver on the other end.
It is important to note that when using an adapter, you will reduce your hitch's weight capacity by 50 percent. So if your trailer hitch is rated for 200 lbs tongue weight, you will only be able to carry 100 lbs. This will include the weight of the adapter itself (5 lbs), plus the weight of your cargo carrier and whatever cargo you are carrying.
