Batteries should be vented if they are installed in an enclosed area. Using a Battery Box Vent # A10-3300BK-05 will allow gases from the battery to vent outside your enclosed trailer if the battery is enclosed in a box or small area.

For charging a trailer battery you want to go with as thick of wire as you can. 10 gauge would be ideal. We sell 10 gauge wire by the foot with part #10-1-1. Typically a 40 amp breaker like part #9510 is used.
