Will The Curt Hitch Head 17107 Allow For Upgrading To The TruTrack 2P Weight Distribution Hitch?

Im looking to convert my current WD system. Would the Curt Item # C86BR fit with my current Hitch head 17107 ? If so I would need the frame brackets Item # C17508 and the lift lever as well.

Expert Reply:
I reached out to Curt who informed me you will have to get a whole new weight distribution to upgrade to the Curt TruTrack 2P # C69JR. They said the Spring Bar # C86BR will not fit into your Head 17107. So you would only be able to reuse your hitch shank. On top of the 2 spring bars you would also need 2 of the Frame Brackets # C17508 along with a hitch Head # C26BR and Lift Arm # C17512.
