Trying to level a big trailer by hand takes a lot of effort, which is why many of the “seasoned” haulers prefer to use an electric jack. Simple, push-button operation can save you a lot of time and effort, so electric jacks are especially convenient for full-time RVers, busy families, and those with limited mobility. Electric jacks are typically designed for use on A-frame trailers, so keep that in mind when you're considering your options. Installation is very simple (it’s pretty much the same process as installing a manual jack, plus you have to connect a couple wires). They’re also really great if you need to hitch and unhitch your trailer frequently.
